Wholesale Terms & Conditions

If you’re a retailer interested in featuring Kavthani in your brick-and-mortar or online store, welcome! I appreciate your interest in my work and want to provide you with detailed upfront information. Below is a condensed version of our Wholesale Agreement:

Wholesale Pricing:

  • All prices are listed in US dollars. Authorized retailers receive wholesale prices at 50% of the set retail prices.
  • Due to the nature of the materials used, prices and availability may change without prior notice.
  • Retailers are responsible for shipping costs on orders under $500. For orders exceeding $500, shipping costs will be covered.
  • Given our small batch, handmade production process, some items available for wholesale have a minimum order quantity (MOQ) that must be met.

Suggested Retail Price (SRP):

  • The SRP is the minimum price at which Kavthani products may be sold. Retailers may set prices above the SRP but are not permitted to sell below this price without prior written authorization.
  • In cases where discounts are offered, the discount must not exceed 50% below the SRP.

OPENING ORDERS MOQ: 
Our standard MOQ is 10 Units Per SKUs. For higher volumes, contact us to discuss tiered pricing and custom packaging options. Orders must be paid in full via credit card or Payoneer/PayPal before production begins.

REORDERS:
A minimum reorder amount of $100 is required, plus shipping costs.

BILLING:
Currently, we do not offer credit terms. All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

FABRICATION & LEAD TIME:
Every item leaving our studio is handmade to order. Once an order is placed, please allow 11-14 days for production. I take full responsibility for production and work diligently to fulfill orders promptly. However, due to our small-batch handmade process, lead times may occasionally change unexpectedly. I will keep you informed and communicate any changes as soon as possible. Please note that orders placed during busy seasons may experience longer lead times. RUSH ORDERS:
Rush orders may be possible if our production schedule permits. A rush order is defined as one that must be shipped within 7 days of placement. For rush orders valued up to $300, an additional production fee of $100 will apply. Orders from $300 to $600 will incur a fee of $150, and orders over $600 will require an extra fee equal to 25% of the total order cost (excluding shipping). The retailer is responsible for any expedited shipping fees. A digital invoice for the additional rush order charges will be issued and must be paid prior to shipment. SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
We ship globally with full export documentation and can accommodate varying Incoterms. Please contact us to discuss logistics, lead times, and bulk freight arrangements.

DAMAGES/DEFECTS:
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. Contact us at mail@kavthani.com within five days of receipt if your shipment is damaged or defective. Note that the policy requires notification within five days of receiving the package—not within five days of opening it. This means that if an order is received but not opened for six days and it is found to be damaged, the return cannot be accepted. Please retain all original packaging, including damaged materials, when returning an item. Returned merchandise will be repaired or replaced if it cannot be repaired. Returns will not be accepted if held for more than 15 days after receipt or if you fail to notify us as specified above. The retailer is responsible for all return shipping costs, and a digital invoice will be issued for any additional charges that must be settled.

RETURNS/ EXCHANGES:
Wholesale orders are handcrafted exclusively for your boutique once placed. Therefore, merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged, except in cases where the item is defective as previously noted.

PACKAGING:
Every piece in your order will arrive in Kavthani packaging, which may include earring cards, necklace tags, or bracelet tags. Additionally, each jewelry piece comes with one branded bag kit containing a 4×4” canvas zipper pouch featuring Kavthani branding, a business card, a care card, and a polishing pad. Retailers are required to package any Kavthani items purchased for sale in their boutique using the provided branded bag kit. If you need additional branded bag kits for any reason, please contact us at mail@kavthani.com The retailer will be responsible for the shipping charges, and a digital invoice will be issued before shipment.

REPRESENTATION OF PRODUCT:
Retailers are strictly prohibited from displaying or selling Kavthani designs without the provided packaging and labeling, whether on your premises or elsewhere. We are happy to supply product photos upon request—please email us at mail@kavthani.com for permission, and we will send them over. Kavthani retains all rights to the provided images and reserves the right to restrict their use. Retailers may only resize these images for website and marketing purposes and are not allowed to alter them (e.g., cropping, changing background colors, or adding text). Additionally, if you sell Kavthani products online, each product description must clearly state that it is “handmade by Kavthani.”

HANDMADE VARIABILITY:
Due to the unique, handmade nature of our production process and the materials used, no two items will be exactly alike. The items displayed in the Kavthani wholesale collection closely represent the finished products you will receive.
